What Kind of Information Cliq Collects

CLIQ.COM is a powerful information tool that [gathers] data from sources including, but not limited to third party social media networks, including, without limitation, Facebook, FourSquare and Twitter (collectively “Social Sites”) as well as a User’s activities on the Website.

In some cases, you may submit personally identifiable information for example, by registering with the Website, sending a request, or submitting a User contribution (directly, or by granting Cliq access to such information through a third-party such as a Social Site) (“Contribution”).

In addition, non-personally identifiable information may automatically be transmitted to our servers from your computer, through, for example, log files, cookies, and Social Site tools, all of which are described in more detail below.

This policy will explain what happens with both types of information.

How Collected Information is Used and Disclosed

By making your information available to Cliq, you are permitting us to retain and use it. However. we go to great lengths to protect any information we receive from you.

1. Personally Identifiable Information

How we obtain personally identifiable information:

• Information you provide directly to Cliq.
• Information you provide to Social Sites.

Cliq may use personally identifiable information:

• To verify your identity and related registration related purposes.
• To respond to User questions or requests or otherwise for the specific purpose for which the information was provided (e.g. entering a contest).
• To inform you about Cliq’s services and updates and request feedback.
• For Cliq’s internal business purposes.
• For fraud prevention purposes.
• For advertising, marketing, endorsing and associated activities (e.g. to provide you information about a new Cliq service.)

Cliq may share your personally identifiable information with third parties only:

• In connection with your Contributions on the Website, where your Social Site user identification or the information you post may be personally identifiable (e.g., if you “Cliq” a merchant to indicate your approval, your Facebook user name will be visible to third parties). 2. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

As is the case with all websites, some information about your server address, web browser, and computer system are automatically transmitted to our web servers so that we can operate the Website. As part of the Website operation, we reserve the right automatically to collect and track the home server, IP addresses and domain names, type of computer, type of web browser, information regarding what pages of the Website you choose to access, and other non-personally identifiable information.

How we obtain non-personally identifiable information:

• Information you provide directly to Cliq and through third party applications that does not identify you.
• Log files- files associated with the IP address of your computer which contain non-identifiable information about you, your computer, your location, and which parts of the Website you visit.
• Cookies- files sent from Cliq’s server to your browser which collects information about your visit to the Website. Cookies are used for security purposes and to help web surfing by saving visitor login information, preferences and other information. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but be aware that doing so may limit your access to certain portions of the Website.

Cliq may use non-personally identifiable information in the following ways:

• To improve or enhance your search results.
• For monitoring, marketing, demographic, and promotional purposes as well as for customizing the content of the Website.
• For Cliq’s other internal business purposes.

Cliq may share non-personally identifiable information in the following ways:

• To produce statistical and/or demographic data for use by advertisers, potential advertisers, and other business partners.
• To post Contributions on the Internet in whole or part, at Cliq’s discretion.
  When we sell or otherwise transfer such information to a successor or subsidiary of Cliq, who would be bound by the then-current Cliq Privacy Policy.
• For monitoring, marketing, demographic, and promotional purposes as well as to assist us in customizing the content of the Website.
• For advertising, marketing, and endorsing purposes, we may contact you on behalf of Cliq merchants (who are not provided any personally identifiable information and are subject to Cliq’s Privacy Policy).

3. Information about “Friends” via Social Sites

• Users of the Website grant to Cliq access to a variety of Social Objects (including, without limitation, Profile photo, Likes, Comments, Check-ins, etc.)
• A registered Website User may access personally identifiable information (including Social Objects) obtained from a Social Site of that User’s Social Site “Friends” (or equivalent first-order network connections on a Social Site) regardless of whether the “Friend” is a registered User of the Website. Note that all social objects of the “Friend” may be shared with the User, regardless of “custom” settings selected by the Friend used on Facebook.
• Non-personally identifiable, aggregated information is collected and shared anonymously.
  We recommend that you review the privacy policies and your personal settings on Social Sites which indicate the level of information shared by those websites.

Security

We take the security of all personally identifiable information obtained through the Website seriously. We use a secure server connection and only those who require such information to serve the purposes described above may access it. While the acts of third parties are not within our control and 100% security can never be guaranteed, one can reduce risks by using strong passwords and anti-virus software.

Opting-Out

You may opt-out of having your personal information collected or used by contacting us by e-mail or regular mail. Please note that in order to fulfill certain obligations, we may need to continue sending you notices or other important information concerning any orders or services you request.

If you decide to delete your Cliq account, Cliq will erase all personally identifiable data from its servers, databases, and other files.

You may request via e-mail or regular mail that we provide you with the personal information we have concerning you. Once you receive this information, you may request that we modify or remove any of your personal information. We reserve the right to verify your identity before sending you this information, and to securely retain information for law enforcement purposed. Once it is removed from Cliq, it may still be viewable elsewhere, including on the Social Sites, however your name will no longer be associated with any of your Cliq Contributions on the Website.

Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to other websites, including merchants and the Social Sites. We encourage our partners, contributors and other third parties to implement policies and practices that respect your privacy. We are not, however, responsible for other websites’ privacy practices or website content.

Cliq AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR NATURE, INCURRED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR NON-USE OF THIRD PARTIES’ WEBSITES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WRONGFUL USE OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
